Eywa Media Plans to Go Global; Raises $1 Million.

Finding The  MoneyBengaluru: Eywa Media, a digital signals processing startup, has successfully attracted $1 million seed funding from ah! Ventures, Viktor Koenig PE Fund and Mantra Ventures. This deal by ah! Ventures was closed on its investment platform – CLUBah.com. Using the freshly raised capital, Eywa plans to enhance its technological offerings and expand its business operations to new geographical areas across the globe. Earlier in January this year, the company had raised $1 million in a funding round led by ah! Ventures and Kyron Global Accelerator.

Ltd, makers of Chillr, a smartphone application for P2P money transactions has received Rs 40 crore in funding from venture capital firm Sequoia, ET reported. The Chillr App lets users send or receive money with phonebook contacts without having to know their account number, IFSC code, or requiring an OTP SMSs. The full set of features of the app are presently available only to HDFC Bank and Bank of Baroda customers on Android, iOS, and Windows. Other bank customers can only receive money.

Ventures, PE fund Viktor Koenig and Mantra Ventures. The deal was syndicated by ah! Ventures and closed on its investment platform, CLUBah.com, as per a press statement. Anshuman Pratap Chaudhary, co-founder & CSO of Eywa Media said that Eywa will use the money raised over the next 12 months to build scale and embed its offerings across devices and apps. “This round was oversubscribed and thus our sincere thanks to our investors who believe that our technology can be impactful globally.” he said. Founded in 2013, Eywa Media provides audience interaction and engagement measurement solutions for brands, broadcasters, retailers, advertisers, production houses and others.
